Web Sites - The First Weekend Club
The First Weekend Club is a grassroots organization based in Vancouver with chapters all across Canada. Their important mission is to promote Canadian Films by increasing the opening weekend box office returns. The FWC sends emails to their members whenever a new Canadian Film is released, and sponsors events and galas that launch independent films in the major Canadian markets.
When the FWC tendered their new web site the competition was predictable fierce with several highly regarded Vancouver New Media companies vieing for the contract. The FWC chose iCAT Media Inc because of our expertise in design and database programming but the deciding factor for them was the passion iCAT Media Inc brings to our work in the world of Film.
cardCATs - Vancouver's Acting Community
iCAT Media Inc launched with a digital business card product we call cardCAT. Hockey-rink-shaped digital business cards have been around for a decade. The key to using this technology is content. We created a Flash-based user interface system that put all the important information a performer needs to communicate on a single card.
Actors love having a 'cool' personal business card that contains their demo reel, 8 x 10 glossies, resume, bio and contact information. Directors and producers are impressed by the high-tech presentation and appreciate having the information they need to make decisions right at their fingertips. iCAT Media Inc is now adapting this technology to new markets including Real Estate and Hospitality.
